Description

A fun twist on classic Rice Krispie treats, these no-bake bars combine crispy cereal with creamy banana pudding flavor for a soft, chewy, and nostalgic dessert.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup banana pudding mix (instant)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sliced dried bananas (optional)
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter completely.
  3. Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in the banana pudding mix and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Pour in the milk and continue stirring until smooth and creamy.
  6. Remove from heat and immediately stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  7. If desired, gently fold in the dried bananas and mini marshmallows.
  8. Transfer the mixture to the prepared dish and press it evenly into the pan using a spatula or lightly greased hands.
  9. Let cool at room temperature for 30 to 60 minutes until set, then cut into squares and serve.
