Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a donut pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pipe batter into donut pan, filling each cavity 3/4 full.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden and cooked through.
- Cool slightly, then remove from pan and place on a rack.
- Brush warm donuts with melted butter.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon, then roll donuts in the mixture until coated.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Do not overmix batter to keep donuts soft.
- Use fresh baking powder for best rise.
- Coat donuts while slightly warm for better sugar adhesion.
- Can use muffin tin if donut pan is unavailable.
