Description
A simple, low-carb yogurt bread made with Greek yogurt, eggs, and baking powder, baked into a soft and tender loaf perfect for quick meals and snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Cooking spray or a small amount of butter for greasing the loaf pan
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a small loaf pan or use a silicone mold.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, eggs, and baking powder. Whisk until smooth and fully combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly. Tap gently to remove air bubbles.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing so it firms up properly.
Notes
- Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the best texture and flavor.
- Let the bread cool fully before slicing to prevent crumbling.
- Add herbs, garlic powder, or onion powder for a savory version.
- Best stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Do not overbake to avoid a dry texture.
