Description

A simple, low-carb yogurt bread made with Greek yogurt, eggs, and baking powder, baked into a soft and tender loaf perfect for quick meals and snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Cooking spray or a small amount of butter for greasing the loaf pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a small loaf pan or use a silicone mold.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, eggs, and baking powder. Whisk until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly. Tap gently to remove air bubbles.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing so it firms up properly.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the best texture and flavor.
  • Let the bread cool fully before slicing to prevent crumbling.
  • Add herbs, garlic powder, or onion powder for a savory version.
  • Best stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Do not overbake to avoid a dry texture.
