Description

Bite-sized mini cheeseburgers made with crispy tater tots instead of buns, filled with seasoned beef and melted cheese for a fun and flavorful snack.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen tater tots
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickles
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C and bake tater tots until golden and crispy.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook ground beef, breaking it apart.
  3. Season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika, then cook until browned.
  4. Remove tater tots from oven and slightly flatten each one.
  5. Place a small amount of beef on one flattened tot and top with cheese.
  6. Cover with another flattened tot to form a sandwich.
  7. Return assembled mini burgers to oven for about 5 minutes until cheese melts.
  8. Mix ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard to make sauce.
  9. Top mini burgers with diced onions, pickles, and sauce before serving.

  • Press tater tots firmly to prevent burgers from falling apart.
