Description

A crunchy and indulgent sweet-and-salty snack made with pretzels, nuts, caramel, and melted chocolate for a perfectly balanced treat.


Ingredients

  • Pretzels 2 cups lightly crushed
  • Roasted nuts 1 cup
  • Chocolate chips 1 cup
  • Unsalted butter 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Honey 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
  • Salt 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Combine crushed pretzels and nuts in a bowl and spread on the tray.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan, then add brown sugar and honey, stirring until bubbling and slightly thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Pour caramel mixture over pretzels and nuts, coating evenly.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let melt, then spread evenly.
  8. Cool completely, then break into pieces and serve.

  • Do not overcook caramel to avoid hardness.
