Ingredients
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease an 8-inch round pan.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add eggs and sugar and mix until creamy.
- Add oil, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture gently.
- Fold in most of the strawberries, reserving some for topping.
- Pour batter into pan and top with remaining strawberries.
- Bake for 32–38 minutes until golden and set.
- Cool slightly, then transfer to a rack and slice.
