Description

Golden and crispy peach fritters with a soft, fluffy interior, bursting with sweet juicy peaches and warm cinnamon flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (optional glaze)
  • 23 tablespoons milk (optional glaze)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional glaze)

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice peaches, then set aside.
  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a thick batter.
  5. Fold in peaches gently.
  6. Heat oil to 175°C and drop spoonfuls of batter into oil.
  7. Fry for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  9. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over fritters if desired.
  10. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Do not overmix batter to keep fritters light.
  • Ensure oil is hot enough to avoid greasy fritters.
  • Drain peaches if using canned.
  • Best served fresh and warm.
  • Can be dusted with powdered sugar instead of glaze.
