Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5–10 minutes.
- In a saucepan, heat cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat until sugar dissolves (do not boil).
- Remove from heat and stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, mixing well.
- Pour mixture into serving glasses or molds.
- Let cool slightly, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
- Unmold if desired or serve directly with toppings.
Notes
- Do not boil the cream mixture to maintain smooth texture.
- Ensure gelatin is fully dissolved to avoid lumps.
- Chill overnight for best results.
- Serve with fruit, caramel, or chocolate sauce.
