- 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, chopped and drained (optional)
- Burger buns or pita bread for serving

- Sliced cucumber for serving
- Tomatoes for serving
- Lettuce for serving

Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, feta cheese, red onion, garlic, parsley, dill, oregano, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- If the mixture feels too soft or wet, mix in the egg and breadcrumbs to help bind the patties.
- Fold in any optional add-ins such as spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, or roasted red peppers if desired.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into burger patties about 1/2-inch thick.
- Press a small dent into the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.
- Heat a lightly oiled skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Transfer the burgers to a plate and let them rest for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Serve in burger buns or pita bread with tzatziki sauce, cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, and red onion slices.
Notes
- Ground turkey can be substituted for ground chicken.
- Adding breadcrumbs and egg helps prevent the patties from falling apart.
- Do not overmix the chicken mixture to keep the burgers tender and juicy.
- Air fryer cooking works well at 375°F (190°C) for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Lettuce wraps make a great low-carb serving option.
- Tzatziki sauce pairs perfectly with the Mediterranean flavors.
- Freeze uncooked or cooked patties for easy future meals.
