Description

Elegant baked pears infused with honey and warm spices, topped with fresh berries, crunchy walnuts, and a savory feta crumble.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears, halved and cored
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/3 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Place halved and cored pears cut-side up in the dish.
  3. Mix honey, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Drizzle mixture over pears evenly.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until tender and caramelized.
  6. Remove and spoon baking juices over pears.
  7. Top with fresh berries, walnuts, and feta cheese.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature.
