Description

Buttery lobster rolls served in soft Hawaiian bread, combining sweet, savory, and creamy flavors with a refreshing citrus touch.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 4 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped celery (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chopped lobster, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Mix gently.
  2. Add celery (if using), salt, and black pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  3. Slice Hawaiian rolls without cutting all the way through.
  4. Spread butter on the inside of each roll.
  5. Toast rolls in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
  6. Remove rolls and let cool slightly.
  7. Fill each roll generously with lobster mixture.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overmix lobster to keep texture intact.
  • Toast rolls well to prevent sogginess.
  • Substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
  • Add paprika or hot sauce for extra flavor.
  • Best served fresh for optimal taste and texture.
