Description

Flaky crescent rolls layered with a creamy lemon-infused cream cheese filling, offering a perfect balance of buttery richness and refreshing citrus flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 225 g cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, sealing seams.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Unroll the second dough can and place it over the filling, sealing seams.
  6. Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly, slice, and serve warm or at room temperature.
