Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 225 g cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, sealing seams.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Unroll the second dough can and place it over the filling, sealing seams.
- Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly, slice, and serve warm or at room temperature.
