Description

A hearty and comforting lasagna layered with tender noodles, savory meat sauce, creamy ricotta, and melted cheeses with a touch of fresh spinach. Perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook lasagna noodles in salted boiling water according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart, then drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for a few minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, chopped spinach, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish, then layer noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  8. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  10. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
