Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook lasagna noodles in salted boiling water according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart, then drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for a few minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, chopped spinach, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish, then layer noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
- Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
