Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
- Mix in egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Divide dough, wrap, and chill for at least 1 hour.
- Roll out dough to about 1/4-inch thickness and cut into shapes.
- Place on baking sheets and bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are set.
- Cool slightly, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
