Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 200 g cooked turkey slices or smoked chicken slices, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can (300 g) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix chicken, turkey (or smoked chicken), Swiss cheese, and mozzarella.
  3. In another bowl, whisk cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and Dijon mustard.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken mixture and stir gently to combine.
  5. Transfer mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Mix crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs with melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the casserole.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
