Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
- 200 g cooked turkey slices or smoked chicken slices, chopped
- 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can (300 g) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix chicken, turkey (or smoked chicken), Swiss cheese, and mozzarella.
- In another bowl, whisk cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and Dijon mustard.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken mixture and stir gently to combine.
- Transfer mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Mix crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the casserole.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
