Description

Honey Garlic Butter Chicken Tenders are juicy, skillet-cooked chicken strips coated in a rich buttery garlic sauce with sweet honey and savory seasonings for an easy and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons clarified butter or ghee, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons raw honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted clarified butter, garlic, honey, and apple cider vinegar until fully combined.
  2. Add the chicken tenders to the bowl and season with sea salt and black pepper.
  3. Toss the chicken until evenly coated in the honey garlic mixture.
  4. Let the chicken marinate for 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add the chicken tenders in a single layer and cook for about 4 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  7. Cook in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the skillet.
  8. Allow the sauce to lightly caramelize around the chicken while cooking.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
  10. Serve immediately with rice, vegetables, salad, or your favorite side dish.

Notes

  • Chicken breast strips can be used instead of chicken tenders.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy variation.
  • Fresh cilantro or thyme can replace parsley.
  • Lemon juice adds a brighter flavor to the sauce.
  • Broccoli, zucchini, or bell peppers can be cooked in the skillet with the chicken.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze cooked chicken tenders for up to 2 months.
