Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 5 ounces evaporated milk
- 2 cups white baking chips
- 7 ounces marshmallow fluff
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 teaspoons orange extract
- Orange gel food coloring (as needed)
Instructions
- Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Heat over medium until boiling.
- Once boiling, stir constantly and cook until mixture reaches 234°F (about 4–5 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in white baking chips until melted and smooth.
- Add marshmallow fluff, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until thick and glossy.
- Transfer 2 cups of the mixture to a separate bowl (vanilla portion).
- Add orange extract and food coloring to the remaining mixture. Stir until evenly colored.
- Drop alternating spoonfuls of vanilla and orange fudge into the prepared pan.
- Use a knife or toothpick to gently swirl the mixtures without overmixing.
- Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate until firm.
- Lift out using parchment and cut into squares.
