Description

Creamy and flavorful high-protein chicken tacos made with tender shredded chicken, cheese, and yogurt, served in soft tortillas with fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts (about 500 g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 200 g cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • 8 small tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  4. Remove chicken, let rest, then shred with forks.
  5. Return shredded chicken to skillet on low heat.
  6. Add cream cheese, Greek yogurt, cheddar cheese, and chicken broth.
  7. Stir until mixture is smooth and creamy.
  8. Add parsley and chili flakes if desired, simmer for 3–5 minutes.
  9. Warm tortillas in a pan or microwave.
  10. Fill tortillas with chicken mixture and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and coriander.
  11. Serve immediately.
