Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large potato, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1–2 tablespoons Montreal steak seasoning
- Cooking spray
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Heavy-duty aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or grill to medium-high heat.
- Cut four large sheets of foil and lightly spray the center of each with cooking spray.
- Shape ground beef into four patties.
- Place potato slices, carrots, and onions in the center of each foil sheet.
- Top vegetables with one beef patty and add butter on top.
- Season with steak seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Seal foil tightly into packets.
- Cook on grill or in oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Carefully open packets, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
