Description

Hamburger Hobo Dinner Foil Packs are a simple one-pack meal made with juicy beef patties, sliced potatoes, carrots, and onions wrapped in foil and cooked until tender. This easy campfire, grill, or oven recipe delivers a complete comforting dinner with minimal cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large potato, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 12 tablespoons Montreal steak seasoning
  • Cooking spray
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Heavy-duty aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Cut four large sheets of foil and lightly spray the center of each with cooking spray.
  3. Shape ground beef into four patties.
  4. Place potato slices, carrots, and onions in the center of each foil sheet.
  5. Top vegetables with one beef patty and add butter on top.
  6. Season with steak seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  7. Seal foil tightly into packets.
  8. Cook on grill or in oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  9. Carefully open packets, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
