Description
Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are tender, juicy, and baked with a rich garlic butter sauce, fresh lemon juice, and paprika for an elegant seafood dish that is surprisingly easy to prepare at home.
Ingredients
- 2 lobster tails, split and cleaned
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Extra melted butter, optional, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Place the split lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet with the meat facing up. Pat the meat dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat, reserving a little for serving if desired.
- Bake the lobster tails for 10 to 12 minutes until the meat is opaque, firm, and lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges and extra warm butter sauce if desired.
Notes
- Do not overcook the lobster or it may become tough and rubbery.
- Frozen lobster tails should be fully thawed before cooking.
- Add cayenne pepper or chili flakes for extra heat.
- Fresh herbs like dill, thyme, or chives work well in the butter sauce.
- Serve with rice, pasta, roasted vegetables, or warm bread.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
