Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce (for sauce)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (for sauce)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (for sauce)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (for sauce)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet.
- Mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, garlic, ginger, green onions, cilantro, soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Shape mixture into small meatballs and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until fully cooked (165°F / 74°C internal temperature).
- Whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, and sesame oil.
- Toss baked meatballs in sauce and serve warm.
