Description

A warm and comforting Easy Blueberry Crumble made with juicy baked blueberries and topped with a buttery oat crumble. This simple dessert is golden, crisp, and perfect served with ice cream or whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (topping)
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch baking dish.
  2. Toss blueberries with sugar, flour, lemon juice, and salt.
  3. Spread blueberry mixture evenly in baking dish.
  4. Mix flour, oats, sugars, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  5. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle crumble evenly over blueberries.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Frozen blueberries can be used if thawed and drained.
  • Do not overmix topping to keep it crumbly.
  • Add nuts for extra crunch if desired.
