Description

Tender and flavorful slow-cooked chicken wings coated in a rich, sticky glaze, perfect for easy meals or entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 2 kg chicken wings, split and tips removed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken wings dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Place wings evenly in the crockpot.
  3. Mix barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, ketchup, hot sauce, and garlic.
  4. Pour sauce over wings and toss to coat.
  5. Cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours until tender.
  6. Optional: transfer wings to a baking sheet and broil for 3–5 minutes to crisp.
  7. Serve warm with extra sauce if desired.

Notes

  • Broiling at the end adds crispiness.
  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less hot sauce.
  • Do not overcrowd the crockpot for even cooking.
