Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Brown sausage in a large skillet, then remove and set aside.
- Add olive oil and garlic to the same pan and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Add Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese; simmer until slightly thickened.
