Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips evenly.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center has a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
