Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla, then mix in milk until smooth.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto baking tray.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers soft.
