Description

Quick and delicious bite-sized desserts made with biscuit dough filled with sweet cherry pie filling, coated in cinnamon sugar, and finished with a smooth glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Separate and flatten each biscuit into a round disc.
  3. Place about 1 tablespoon of cherry filling in the center of each.
  4. Fold and seal dough around filling, forming a ball.
  5. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  6. Dip each ball in melted butter, then coat in cinnamon sugar.
  7. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze.
  10. Cool slightly and drizzle glaze over warm pie bombs.

  • Do not overfill to prevent leaking.
  • Seal edges היטב to keep filling inside.
  • Try different fillings like apple or blueberry.
  • Can be air fried for a quicker method.
  • Skip glaze for a less sweet version.
