Description
Quick and crispy cheesy toast made in an air fryer with melted cheese and golden buttery bread, perfect for a simple snack or light meal.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 1–2 tablespoons softened butter
- 1 small pinch of salt
- Chili flakes or oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) if required.
- Place bread in air fryer basket butter-side down.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly on top of each slice.
- Add salt and optional chili flakes or oregano.
- Air fry for 4–6 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly golden.
- Remove carefully and let rest for 1 minute before serving.
Notes
- Use enough butter for crispiness.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer.
- Watch closely to avoid burning.
- Try different cheeses for variety.
