- 1 cup whole milk

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix sugar, melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Mix swirl sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a small bowl.
- Pour half the batter into pan, add half swirl, then repeat layers.
- Swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool 10–15 minutes, then brush with butter.
- Mix topping sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over loaf, and let set.

- Do not overmix batter to keep loaf soft and tender.

- Cover loosely with foil if top browns too quickly.
