Description

A refreshing frozen citrus and tea-based slush with a smooth, lightly sweet flavor and icy texture, perfect for warm days or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tea bags
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 can (6 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 2 cups cold water (additional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, then remove from heat and add tea bags.
  2. Steep for 5 minutes, then remove tea bags.
  3. Stir sugar into warm tea until fully dissolved and let cool.
  4. In a large container, mix cooled tea with orange juice and lemonade concentrates.
  5. Add remaining cold water and stir well.
  6. Cover and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  7. Before serving, let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
  8. Scrape with a fork to create a slushy texture.
  9. Serve immediately.

  • Adjust sugar to taste.
  • Use black or green tea for variation.
  • Add fresh fruit for extra flavor.
  • Store in freezer up to 2 weeks.
