Description

A bold appetizer featuring spicy jalapeños stuffed with creamy brie, sweet blueberries, and a touch of honey for a perfect balance of flavors.


Ingredients

  • 6 fresh jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeds removed
  • 150 g brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. Place a cube of brie cheese into each jalapeño half.
  4. Top with a few blueberries, pressing gently to secure.
  5. Drizzle with honey and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Arrange on baking sheet and lightly brush with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes until jalapeños are tender and cheese is melted.
  8. Cool slightly, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve.

  • Use raspberries or strawberries instead of blueberries for variation.
  • Add breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch.
