Description

A simple and elegant baked salmon dish cooked in foil with asparagus and a flavorful lemon garlic butter sauce, resulting in tender and juicy fish.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (150180 g each)
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley or 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and prepare foil sheets.
  2. Place asparagus on each foil sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season lightly.
  3. Place salmon fillets on top of asparagus.
  4. Mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, zest, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spoon the mixture over the salmon and add lemon slices.
  6. Fold foil tightly to seal packets.
  7. Place on baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes.
  8. Carefully open packets and serve immediately.

  • Seal foil היטghtly to keep moisture inside.
  • Do not overcook to keep salmon tender.
  • Use fresh lemon for best flavor.
  • Can substitute vegetables like broccoli or green beans.
