Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread chopped apples evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix cake mix, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Sprinkle the dry mixture evenly over the apples without mixing.
  5. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top.
  6. Drizzle water and vanilla extract over the mixture.
  7. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for 10–15 minutes.
  9. Whisk glaze ingredients until smooth.
  10. Drizzle glaze over the warm cake and serve.
