Description

Easy 4-ingredient no-bake brownies made with dates, almonds, and cocoa for a rich, naturally sweet, and fudgy treat without using an oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted

Instructions

  1. If dates are dry, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain.
  2. In a food processor, pulse almonds until they form a coarse flour.
  3. Add dates and blend until sticky and clumping together.
  4. Add cocoa powder and melted coconut oil, then blend until a thick dough forms.
  5. Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  6. Press the mixture evenly into the pan.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
  8. Remove from pan, cut into squares, and serve.

Notes

  • Soaking dates improves texture and blending.
  • Do not over-process almonds to avoid turning into butter.
  • Add nuts, vanilla, or chocolate drizzle for variation.
  • Store in refrigerator up to 1 week or freeze up to 3 months.
  • No reheating required; best served chilled or at room temperature.
