Description
Easy 4-ingredient no-bake brownies made with dates, almonds, and cocoa for a rich, naturally sweet, and fudgy treat without using an oven.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Medjool dates, pitted
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
Instructions
- If dates are dry, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain.
- In a food processor, pulse almonds until they form a coarse flour.
- Add dates and blend until sticky and clumping together.
- Add cocoa powder and melted coconut oil, then blend until a thick dough forms.
- Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
- Press the mixture evenly into the pan.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
- Remove from pan, cut into squares, and serve.
Notes
- Soaking dates improves texture and blending.
- Do not over-process almonds to avoid turning into butter.
- Add nuts, vanilla, or chocolate drizzle for variation.
- Store in refrigerator up to 1 week or freeze up to 3 months.
- No reheating required; best served chilled or at room temperature.
