Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 300400 g chocolate candy coating or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and vinegar.
  3. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  4. Stop stirring and cook until the mixture reaches 150°C (300°F).
  5. Remove from heat and quickly stir in baking soda until foamy.
  6. Pour onto prepared baking sheet without spreading.
  7. Allow to cool completely until firm.
  8. Break into bite-sized pieces.
  9. Melt chocolate in intervals, stirring until smooth.
  10. Dip or drizzle chocolate over candy pieces.
  11. Let chocolate set before serving.
