- 120 grams (½ cup) heavy whipping cream, cold
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 400 grams (1¾ cups) milk (whole or oat milk preferred)

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the matcha powder with 6 tablespoons of cold heavy cream to form a smooth paste, eliminating lumps.

- Fill two glasses halfway with ice and pour in the milk.
- Spoon the whipped matcha over the milk to form a top layer.
- Stir before drinking to combine the flavors and textures.
Notes
- Use ceremonial-grade matcha for brighter color and smoother flavor.
- Swap heavy cream and milk for plant-based alternatives to make it dairy-free.
- Reduce sugar or use honey/maple syrup for less sweetness.
- Skip ice and heat milk for a warm version.
- Best served fresh; store whipped topping separately in fridge for up to 24 hours.
