Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar or crystal sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dairy-free chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix almond flour, gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder until well combined.
  2. Add plant-based milk, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar. Stir to form a smooth batter.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips, if using.
  4. Pour batter into a 12-ounce microwave-safe mug.
  5. Microwave at 900W for 90 seconds. If your microwave is stronger, start with 60 seconds and check doneness.
  6. Let cool for 1 minute before serving.
