Ingredients
- For the crust:
- 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- For the chocolate filling:
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the topping:
- 12–16 large marshmallows
- Optional: extra graham cracker crumbs or melted chocolate drizzle
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 5–7 minutes until lightly golden.
- Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips, cream, and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the baked crust and smooth out evenly.
- Arrange marshmallows over the chocolate layer.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until marshmallows are puffed and golden. For a more toasted top, broil for 1–2 minutes, watching closely.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Optionally garnish with extra chocolate or graham cracker crumbs. Enjoy warm!
