Ingredients
- 200 g (about 7 oz) unsweetened dark chocolate
- 1½ tablespoons agave syrup (or honey or maple syrup)
- ¼ cup (about 40 g) chopped whole almonds
- A pinch of sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Chop the dark chocolate and melt it using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring every 20 seconds to avoid burning.
- Stir in the agave syrup (or preferred sweetener) until well combined.
- Fold in the chopped almonds until evenly coated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mixture into a thin, even layer (⅛ to ¼ inch thick).
- Sprinkle the top with sea salt.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes until set.
- Break into pieces and serve or store.
