Description

This homemade coffee cream is rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced with a touch of sweetness and vanilla. It blends smoothly into hot or iced coffee for a café-style finish made right at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream and whole milk. Warm gently for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, without boiling.
  2. Add sweetened condensed milk and granulated sugar. Stir continuously until sugar is fully dissolved and mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  5. Transfer to a clean glass jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before using to allow flavors to develop. Shake well before each use.

Notes

  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days and shake before each use.
  • Do not boil, as overheating may cause separation.
  • Customize with caramel, cinnamon, or cocoa powder for flavor variations.
  • Freezing is not recommended due to possible texture changes.
  • Discard if you notice sour smell, curdling, or unusual texture.
