Description
This homemade coffee cream is rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced with a touch of sweetness and vanilla. It blends smoothly into hot or iced coffee for a café-style finish made right at home.
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon fine salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream and whole milk. Warm gently for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, without boiling.
- Add sweetened condensed milk and granulated sugar. Stir continuously until sugar is fully dissolved and mixture is smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
- Transfer to a clean glass jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before using to allow flavors to develop. Shake well before each use.
Notes
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days and shake before each use.
- Do not boil, as overheating may cause separation.
- Customize with caramel, cinnamon, or cocoa powder for flavor variations.
- Freezing is not recommended due to possible texture changes.
- Discard if you notice sour smell, curdling, or unusual texture.
