Description
These Strawberry Cheesecake Danish Sliders are a sweet, bakery-style treat that combines creamy cheesecake filling, juicy strawberries, and soft Hawaiian rolls. Perfect for brunch, dessert, or a special breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls or slider buns
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Without separating the rolls, slice the sheet of rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the dish.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread evenly over the bottom rolls.
- Top with sliced strawberries.
- Place the top half of rolls over the strawberries. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon if using.
- Bake uncovered for 15–18 minutes, or until tops are golden and slightly crisp.
- Whisk powdered sugar and milk until smooth to make the glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm sliders. Slice and serve.
Notes
- Use room temperature cream cheese for smoother filling.
- Don’t overfill with strawberries to avoid sogginess.
- Let the sliders cool slightly before glazing to prevent glaze from melting too quickly.
- Add strawberry jam beneath the cream cheese layer for extra berry flavor.
