Description

Fun and festive Halloween dirt cups made with layers of creamy chocolate pudding, whipped topping, crushed cookies, and spooky decorations like gummy worms and candy gravestones. A playful, no-bake dessert perfect for parties and family fun.

Ingredients

    • 3 cups cold milk
    • 2 (3.9 oz) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
    • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (Cool Whip or whipped cream), softened
    • 20 chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), crushed

  • 8 Milano cookies or similar flat cookies (for gravestones)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional, for decorating)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for decorating)
  • Gummy worms
  • Bone-shaped sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk cold milk with chocolate pudding mix in a large bowl until smooth. Chill for 10 minutes until thickened.
  2. Fold in whipped topping until fully combined.
  3. Divide pudding mixture evenly into 8 clear party cups. Chill for 20 minutes.
  4. Crush chocolate cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or zip-top bag.
  5. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil and pipe designs (like RIP or crosses) onto Milano cookies for gravestones. Chill for 5–10 minutes to set.
  6. Sprinkle crushed cookies over pudding cups to resemble dirt.
  7. Insert decorated gravestone cookies into each cup.
  8. Add gummy worms, bone sprinkles, or other spooky toppings. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Add a bottom layer of cookie crumbs before pudding for extra crunch.
  • Swap in vanilla or white chocolate pudding for a lighter look.
  • Use store-bought gel frosting instead of melted chocolate for decorating gravestones.
  • Make mini versions in 2.5-ounce cups for party-sized servings.
  • Wait to add cookie crumbs and toppings until serving so they don’t get soggy.
