Description

This spinach and pineapple smoothie is a refreshing, nutrient-packed drink that blends tropical fruit with leafy greens into a smooth, creamy blend. It’s naturally sweet, energizing, and easy to make in just a few minutes — perfect for a quick breakfast or midday pick-me-up.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup apple juice
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 cups baby spinach (packed and washed)
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 3 tbsp natural yoghurt (or coconut yoghurt for dairy-free)
  • Juice of ½ lime or lemon

Instructions

  1. Pour apple juice and water into a blender.
  2. Add baby spinach, frozen pineapple, yoghurt, and lime or lemon juice.
  3. Secure the lid and blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. If too thick, add a splash of water and blend again.
  5. Serve immediately in a glass or jar.

Notes

  • Swap apple juice for a chopped sweet apple and more water to lower sugar content.
  • Use kale or Swiss chard instead of spinach for a different flavor and texture.
  • Add protein powder or silken tofu for extra protein.
  • Use coconut water instead of plain water for added electrolytes.
  • Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
