Description
Spiderweb Bark is a festive no-bake Halloween treat made by layering dark cocoa candy melts over chocolate graham crackers and decorating with piped white chocolate webs and spooky red candy ‘eyes.’ It’s quick, creative, and perfect for parties or edible gifts.
Ingredients
- 12 to 16 whole chocolate graham crackers
- 12 ounces dark cocoa candy melts
- 1 cup white candy melts
- Red jumbo nonpareils or red candy decorations
Instructions
- Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange chocolate graham crackers in a single layer to cover the pan, breaking pieces as needed to fit.
- Melt dark cocoa candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Melt white candy melts in a separate bowl using the same method.
- Pour the melted dark candy melts over the graham crackers and spread evenly with an offset spatula.
- Transfer melted white candy into a piping or zip-top bag and snip a small corner.
- Pipe 4–5 concentric circles on the dark layer and drag a toothpick from the center outward to create spiderweb designs. Repeat across the surface.
- Press red nonpareils into the chocolate while it’s still soft to create “eyes.”
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes until fully set.
- Break the bark into pieces of desired size and serve or store.
Notes
- If candy melts are too thick, stir in 1 tsp of vegetable oil to thin.
- Use orange, green, or purple candy melts for more Halloween colors.
- Try candy eyeballs instead of red nonpareils for extra spooky effect.
- Add toppings like crushed pretzels, toffee bits, or nuts before chilling for crunch.
- Store in a cool place or fridge if your kitchen is warm to prevent melting.
