Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons light cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
- 20–25 small shrimp, shelled and deveined (frozen or fresh)
- 1 tablespoon sambal oelek or your favorite chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 500 grams spaghetti noodles, cooked and drained
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Finely chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
- Add chopped garlic and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant, but not burnt.
- Add shrimp and stir-fry for 1–2 minutes until they start to turn pink.
- Stir in sambal oelek and soy sauce, mixing well to coat the shrimp.
- Add cooked noodles, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry for 1–2 more minutes until everything is heated through and combined.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use tamari or coconut aminos for a gluten-free alternative.
- Adjust chili sauce to make it more or less spicy.
- Add vegetables like bok choy or bell peppers for a more balanced meal.
- Toss noodles with a little oil after cooking to prevent sticking.
