Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz / 227 g) crescent roll dough
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 lb (225 g) cooked halal breakfast sausage (beef or chicken), crumbled
- 1/2 cup (50 g) shredded cheddar cheese or cheese blend
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cooked crumbled sausage, shredded cheese, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until well blended.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each triangle toward the tip, forming crescents.
- Arrange the crescents on the prepared baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm.
