Description

These sausage cream cheese crescents are flaky, savory pastries filled with a creamy, cheesy sausage mixture—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or appetizers. Quick to prepare and always a crowd-pleaser.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz / 227 g) crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 lb (225 g) cooked halal breakfast sausage (beef or chicken), crumbled
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) shredded cheddar cheese or cheese blend
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cooked crumbled sausage, shredded cheese, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until well blended.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up each triangle toward the tip, forming crescents.
  6. Arrange the crescents on the prepared baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm.
