Ingredients
- 1 cup pitted Medjool dates
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp oat flour
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Add dates, tahini, oat flour, and 1 tbsp water to a food processor. Blend until smooth and sticky. Add the second tbsp of water if needed to reach a pliable consistency. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator.
- Melt dark chocolate chips using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals. Stir in coconut oil until smooth and glossy. Let cool slightly.
- Roll the chilled date mixture into 1-inch balls.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Drizzle with remaining chocolate and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Freeze for 1 hour to set the chocolate coating.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 1 month.
