Description

These easy protein waffles are made with oats, flour, protein powder, eggs, and milk to create a fluffy, golden breakfast that’s high in protein and perfect for meal prep. They’re crisp on the outside, soft inside, and easy to customize for gluten-free or dairy-free needs.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 2 servings protein powder (about 6070 g or ¾ cup)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1½ cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle iron.
  2. Add oats, flour, protein powder, baking powder, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender. Blend on low for 15–20 seconds until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until the waffles are golden and crisp.
  4. Carefully remove the waffles and repeat with the remaining batter.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as nut butter, fruit, or yogurt.

Notes

  • Use gluten-free flour and certified gluten-free oats for a gluten-free version.
  • Substitute with plant-based protein powder and non-dairy milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Add cinnamon or mashed banana for flavor variations.
  • Use almond flour and tapioca starch for a grain-free alternative.
  • Place cooked waffles on a wire rack to keep them crispy before serving.
