Description

A luxurious no-bake twist on the classic tiramisu, this Pistachio Cream Tiramisu features layers of soft ladyfingers, rich pistachio-mascarpone cream, and a topping of crushed pistachios and white chocolate for an elegant, nutty dessert.

Ingredients

  • 200 g savoiardi (ladyfingers) biscuits
  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk or light coffee, cooled
  • 250 g mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold heavy whipping cream
  • 120 g pistachio paste or pistachio cream
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons finely ground pistachios (for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons white chocolate shavings (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine mascarpone, pistachio paste, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone-pistachio mixture until fully combined and airy.
  4. Pour the milk or coffee into a shallow bowl. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the liquid, one at a time, without soaking.
  5. Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a 20×20 cm serving dish.
  6. Spread half of the pistachio cream over the ladyfingers in an even layer.
  7. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and top with the remaining pistachio cream. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
  8. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  9. Before serving, sprinkle with finely ground pistachios and optional white chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, replace the milk with pistachio milk or sweetened almond milk.
  • Dip ladyfingers very briefly to avoid sogginess.
  • Can be layered in individual dessert glasses for a more elegant serving style.
  • Homemade pistachio paste is great if it’s smooth and lightly sweetened.
