Description

Fluffy pancakes filled with a gooey Nutella center, creating a rich and indulgent breakfast or dessert treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Nutella (frozen into discs)
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Spoon small portions of Nutella onto a lined tray and freeze for 30–45 minutes until firm.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
  5. Heat a greased pan over medium heat and pour a small amount of batter.
  6. Place a frozen Nutella disc in the center and cover with more batter.
  7. Cook for 2–3 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.
  8. Repeat with remaining batter and serve warm.

Notes

  • Freeze Nutella to prevent leaking.
  • Do not overmix batter to keep pancakes fluffy.
  • Use medium heat to avoid burning.
  • Add fruits or nuts for extra flavor.
