Description
Fluffy pancakes filled with a gooey Nutella center, creating a rich and indulgent breakfast or dessert treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup Nutella (frozen into discs)
- Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions
- Spoon small portions of Nutella onto a lined tray and freeze for 30–45 minutes until firm.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
- Heat a greased pan over medium heat and pour a small amount of batter.
- Place a frozen Nutella disc in the center and cover with more batter.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.
- Repeat with remaining batter and serve warm.
Notes
- Freeze Nutella to prevent leaking.
- Do not overmix batter to keep pancakes fluffy.
- Use medium heat to avoid burning.
- Add fruits or nuts for extra flavor.
- Best served immediately while warm.
